When she was little, Jill thought she would end up being a world-famous author-actress-baker while being a stay-at-home mom. Since then, Jill earned a BA in English and editing from Brigham Young University and worked as a web designer/web content developer for a couple of years. Now she’s a stay-at-home mom who tends to be a bit dramatic, doesn’t know when to shut up about writing, and occasionally will actually write.
She has far too many books she loves as an adult, but some of her favorite childhood influences are:
-
- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L’Engle
- Chronicles of Chrestomanci by Diana Wynne Jones
- Wildwood Dancing and Cybele’s Secret by Juliet Marillier
- The Shannara books by Terry Brooks
- The Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix
- Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene
- Mary Higgins Clark
- Persuasion by Jane Austen
